The new scenic overlook!<\/p><\/div>\n

Hey, Gang,<\/p>\n

Wow, it’s been busy around here! It’s full-on summer, and we’re enjoying it!<\/p>\n

First, a couple of shout-outs to my friends Suzanne and Tim, who both did me proud recently. Suzanne (who keeps us in line here during the week!) hit another significant milestone in her student pilot training: she passed her “written” exam. Yay, Siouxie Banshee!<\/p>\n

And, my friend Tim, who flies C-17s and King Airs for the US Air Force, just nailed his SES add-on checkride! (and, may I take this moment to thank Tim and all members of our armed forces for their service.)<\/p>\n

The lake is alive with sailboats, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, cruisers…. everyone’s having a good time. And, the city recently installed a scenic overlook right by our dock. Here I am, inspecting the work and enjoying the view.<\/p>\n
