It means snow in the Cascades and Olympics. It means <a href=\"http:\/\/medina.komonews.com\/content\/santa-cutting-wake-lake-wahington-week\" target=\"_blank\">Santa is water-skiing <\/a>on Lake Washington.\u00c2\u00a0 It means downtown is busy with shoppers. (I hope somebody&#8217;s going to the pet store for presents!)<\/p>\n<dl id=\"attachment_80\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 160px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattleseaplanes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/space-needle-christmas.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-80\" title=\"Space Needle at Christmas\" src=\"https:\/\/www.seattleseaplanes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/space-needle-christmas-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">The top of Seattle&#8217;s Space Needle, all lit up for Christmas<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<p>And the Space Needle, looming above Lake Union, is all lit up for the holidays!<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re still flying here at Seattle Seaplanes over the holidays.\u00c2\u00a0 Cold, <em>dry<\/em> winter days are the best conditions &#8211; the mountains show up crisply with their blanket of freshly-fallen snow. The water sparkles, and the air is still.<\/p>\n<p>But, in case it&#8217;s rainy, don&#8217;t let that deter you from the idea of a flight. \u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s still a great day to fly, and we&#8217;ll be happy to take you up!<\/p>\n<p>Gift certificates come in handy at any time of the year &#8211; just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattleseaplanes.com\/contact.php\" target=\"_blank\">call or shoot us an email,<\/a> and we&#8217;ll be happy to help you out.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve taken the opportunity of a somewhat quieter time to get some work done on some of the airplanes.
